Toyota Belta

The Toyota Belta (in the U.S. Toyota Yaris Sedan and South Asia Toyota Vios ) is a small saloon, Toyota has been producing since 2006. Basically it is a revised, sportier version of the models and place Vitz. The Belta went to Japan with four-cylinder engines with 1.0 l and 1.3 l in the sale and in the U.S. with a 1.5-liter R4. To boost the sales and to make Belta and Yaris known among young buyers, Toyota has set a profile on MySpace.

Vitz Belta and are built on the same platform. The Vitz ( Yaris ), however, was designed in the European design studios of Toyota, during the Belta was designed in Japan - two different construction for two different groups of buyers. The outgoing Vitz and Platz models look similar (only the front, the lighting, the rear doors and the body parts behind the B-pillars are not the same ), while the Vitz and Belta have the subtle similarities. They have similar, but not identical dashboards and completely different components. Only the chassis and drivetrain are the same. The bodies are completely different. The Belta is larger than the previous generation of small Toyotas; its interior is greater than that of the corolla ( 2001-2008 ).

Toyota Yaris Sedan (2007-2008)

The Canadian version of the Yaris Sedan, which is simply called the Yaris, is based on the U.S. Yaris S with power and all-weather packages, but with standard 14 " rims. The special equipment packages are called B, C, D and Aero. B has 15 '' rims with all season tires, chrome trim on the trunk lid, front and rear mud flaps, door handles in body color, black window frames and electronic locks ( keyless entry ). C offers ABS, air conditioning, electric windows, electrically adjustable door mirrors in body color. D offers four side airbags. The aero package adds lockable aluminum wheels, a rear spoiler and a body package, but is not to be combined with side airbags and air conditioning. But Toyota is trying to standardize the equipment in all markets of the world.

2009 Yaris Sedan has been overhauled and got a new grille, new wheel covers, new upholstery, leather steering wheel and gearshift knob on applications, satellite radio and standard side airbags and ABS.
