Toyota Comfort

The Toyota Comfort is a built since 1995 sedan the Japanese automaker Toyota rear-wheel drive. It is based on the model Toyota Crown ( S150)

Launched in 1995, the Toyota Comfort, which is to address the taxi and wholesale market with its particular emphasis soberly designed body and relatively simple technology ( rear rigid axle ) in the first place. In Hong Kong and Singapore, the model now dominates the taxi market, but at least go in Singapore, the major taxi companies such as Comfort Taxicab and CityCab to on to use the Hyundai Sonata.

Competitors of Comfort are the similarly designed models Nissan Crew and Nissan Cedric.

Comfort is powered by either a 2.2 -liter diesel engine or a two-liter inline four- cylinder with a square bore and stroke masses, which is operated with LPG and 58 kW makes (79 hp). Formerly gasoline engines were available.

The model range includes the standard trim levels (basic model ) and the better-equipped versions Deluxe and SG. A version with 10 cm longer wheelbase is incorporated under the name Crown Comfort in the Toyota Crown model program. The Car Door allows the driver to open the rear door of a linkage on the passenger side. The model is as five - and six-seater version ( with a continuous bench seat in front).
