Toyota Corolla Rumion
The Toyota Corolla is a Rumion mainly marketed in Japan small car the Japanese automaker Toyota, which is offered as a stand-alone model series since 9 September 2007. In Australia, however, the model is called the Toyota Rukus.
The model was developed on the proprietary platform and MC is technically based on the Corolla Axio. Official sister model is offered in the U.S. Scion xB.
With the introduction of the Toyota Corolla Rumion wanted to take a middle-class small car as a replacement of the set 9 September 2007 Corolla Sedan on the market. This is parallel to the Corolla Axio rank in the model range in order to specifically address a younger clientele.
To select the Corolla Rumion is available in standard versions STD, G, S, SE, LE and LX, which differ only slightly from each other. The vehicle is made exclusively with Super CVT -i transmission.
With dark brown metallic paint Toyota unveiled the special edition Chocolate AEROTURER, which was styled by a Japanese tuner, and was equipped with the 1.5 liter engine with 110 hp. The model was then replaced on 22 April 2008 by the AERO TOURER SORA. This had a slightly more subtle appearance. The specially developed parts of the vehicle were also available separately as AERO TOURER - Sport package. In August 2008 the special model has been superseded by equipment packages 1.5G 1.5G Smart Smart Package and Package. It stood in the two different packages special coatings to choose from. In addition, the two had their own versions headlights, an armrest on the driver's seat as standard and a smart start system.
In limited numbers, the Corolla Rumion is also sold in other countries. However, these vehicles are all left-hand drive.
