Toyota FJ Cruiser

The Toyota FJ Cruiser is an SUV, the Toyota as a concept car at the Chicago Auto Show 2003 presented and as a production-ready vehicle on the following North American International Auto Show. Since early 2006, he is prepared as a vehicle of model year 2007.

Its design is reminiscent of the FJ40 from the 1960s - especially the front view and the rear panoramic window. The FJ Cruiser is based on the Land Cruiser Prado and was not originally intended for mass production, but due to the large public interest at the North American International Auto Show allowed to start the series in early 2006.

All built in 2006 FJ Cruiser was built by Hino Motors in Hamura in Japan. Since 2007, the FJ Cruiser also runs in the People's Republic of China from the band and is produced under the name of Guangzhou Toyota FJ Cruiser.

Market placement

Security

TRD Special Edition

Changes for the 2008 model year
