Toyota Ractis

The Toyota Ractis is a small car, the Japanese car manufacturer Toyota manufactures only for the Japanese market. It is a five-seater, based on the Vitz, and was introduced in October 2005 as the successor to the Yaris Verso.

The name Ractis derives from " Run " (Eng.: run ), "Activity " (Eng.: activity) and "Space" (German: room ) from.

First generation (2005-2010)

The car is available with two different engines, a 1.3 -liter R4 with 87 bhp (64 kW) and a 1.5-liter R4 with 110 bhp (81 kW). Both models have front-wheel drive. With all-wheel drive of the Ractis is only available with the 1.5-liter engine that delivers 105 bhp then (77 kW).

Second generation ( 2010)

Since 2011, the second generation is available. The same model is offered in Europe as the Toyota Verso- S and Subaru as Trezia.
