The Toyota Starlet was a 1973-1999 built in several generations of small cars from Toyota.

Publica Starlet P4/P5 ( 1973-1978 )

The Publica Starlet P4 was intended as a sports supplement to Publication P30 and from March 1973 as a two-door sedan and as a three-door station wagon, and from December 1973, as a four-door sedan in the trim levels Standard, Deluxe, Hi- Deluxe, ST, and SR available.

The starlet has been placed on the European market shortly after the technically similar designed Mazda 323 in spring 1978. Both vehicles had rear-wheel drive and rear rigid axle.
