Tozeur Governorate

The government Tozeur, Arabic ولاية توزر, DMG Wilāyat Tauzar, is one of 24 provinces in Tunisia. It is in the west of the country on the border with Algeria. The region covers an area of ​​4719 km ² and has a population of 104,800. The capital is also called Tozeur. In the north east borders the province of Gafsa, in the southeast is the large salt lake Chott el Jerid.
