TP Mazembe
Tout Puissant Mazembe, also known by the abbreviation TP Mazembe or under the name TP Mazembe Englebert, ( tout puissant, French " omnipotent ") is a football club based in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is based in the city of Lubumbashi in the Katanga region, the club colors are black and white.
History
Tout Puissant Mazembe was founded in 1939 by Benedictine monks from Élisabethville ( Lubumbashi ). Thus, the missionaries had a leisure activity, if they are not focused on studying, they founded the Holy Georges. The team was playing in the first division of the Fédération Royale des Associations Sportives Days of Glory ( Frasi ), an association founded by the Belgian king. In their first season they finished third.
Today, the association with four wins in the CAF Champions League one of the most successful African teams is. Tout Puissant Mazembe moved in 2010 as the first African team ever in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup one, had to be there, however, beaten 0-3 Inter Milan.
