Traill County, North Dakota
The Traill County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Dakota. In 2010, the County had 8121 inhabitants and a population density of 3.6 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Hillsboro.
Geography
The County is located in the extreme east of North Dakota on the Red River of the North, which forms the border with Minnesota. It has an area of 2234 square kilometers, of which 2 square kilometers is water area. On the Traill County borders the following Nachbarcountys:
History
The Traill County was formed in 1875. It was named after Walter John Strickland Traill, an early settler of the area.

According to the census in 2010 lived in Traill County 8121 people in 3375 households. The population density was 3.6 people per square kilometer. In the 3375 households lived statistically 2.33 per person.
