Trans World Express

The Trans World Express ( TWE ) was the express and regional aircraft and feeder road company of Trans World Airlines (TWA). With the acquisition of TWA by American Airlines, the TWE- fleet was operated under the name American Connection on.

The routes of the Trans World Express Trans States Airlines were, Chautauqua Airlines and Corporate Airlines (now RegionsAir ) served. Until 6 November 1995, the TWE resulted Inc., as a 100 percent subsidiary of TWA flights under the banner of Trans World Express from. The airline, formerly Ransome Airlines, then Pan Am Express, was located on the Northeast Philadelphia Airport. After this date, all flights on the TWE were operated by third airlines. Other airlines that flew under the banner of TWE, were also Air Resort and Metro Air Northeast.

The majority of flight operations were flights from the east coast of the United States John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York and the South and Midwest to the Lambert -Saint Louis International Airport.
