Transatlantic Pictures

Transatlantic Pictures was a British- American film production company. It was founded in 1948 by Alfred Hitchcock and Sidney Bernstein.

It was intended to produce films alternately in London and Hollywood. However, there were only two Transatlantic productions, both directed by Alfred Hitchcock films Rope (1948) and slave of the heart ( 1949). Due to the commercial failure of these two films Transatlantic Pictures was forced to declare bankruptcy.
