Transcend Information
Transcend Information, Inc. (Chinese创见 资讯, Pinyin Chuàngjiàn Zīxùn ) is a Taiwanese company with headquarters in Taipei, which manufactures memory modules and products and Expel.
The company was founded in 1988 by Peter Shu (束 崇 万, Shu Chóngwàn ). At the beginning had Transcend the " JetMate " driver for laser printers and the " KeyPro " encryption software only two products on the market shortly after its assortment memory upgrade was initially extended for printers, later also for computers. Meanwhile includes the RAM product line over 2,500 memory modules for a variety of devices, such as desktop and notebook PCs, servers, workstations, fax machines, etc. All memory products are available as special memory for brand hardware as well as storage for non-proprietary and private label devices. The office of the German Transcend Information Trading GmbH located in Hamburg. In May 2001, it was first listed Transcend memory manufacturer in Taiwan ( TSEC 2451 ).
