Translative case
The translative is a case, which occurs in most of the Finno- Ugric languages , such as Hungarian, Finnish and Estonian, but also in the Volga- Finnish branch of the language family, eg in Mordovian. He refers to a state or property as a result of a previous operation or a change. German equivalents are often in the dative or are adverbial supplements and need a preposition ( mostly ).
