Transradio

The TRANSRADIO Berlin AG is specialized in research, development and design of AM, VHF/FM- and DRM transmitters, as well as on commercial and military communications transmitter for long - and very long wave.

The existing 1989 Telefunken transmitter technology GmbH was renamed in 2000 in Telefunken transmitter Berlin AG. From this emerged the 2005 TRANSRADIO Berlin AG.

The history of the name " Trans Radio" can be traced back to the year 1918. With the introduction of duplex traffic in wireless connections in 1919, the Trans radio corporation acquired for wireless Overseas traffic at that time worldwide recognition.

After Specimen losses since 2007, the stock is no longer publicly traded as of 2013. The share capital of EUR 1.5 million was raised in 2010 to 1.87 million euros.

DRM - Business

Transradio has been promoting the millennium digitization previously dominated AM radio ranges. Almost all the major medium-and long -wave transmitters were already equipped with their " TRAM " transmitter modules. They offer the optional AM or DRM operation.
