Trasadingen is a municipality in the canton of Schaffhausen in Switzerland.

Geography

Trasadingen located in Unterklettgau in the far west of the canton and right on the border of Germany. The community name is known by the same name beacon of Zurich Airport internationally.

Economy

In Trasadingen wine is grown. The climate and soil are particularly suited for the noble variety Pinot Noir. 22 information panels on a wine trail set up in 2001 on topics of winemaking in the region.

Trasadingen is located on the road E 54 from Basel to Schaffhausen. Trasadingen has a railway station of the Deutsche Bahn on the Upper Rhine Railway from Basel to Schaffhausen and Singen.

The Trasadinger coat of arms is found for the first time in 1693, it is up to the vine knife in the right ( heraldic: left ). Obereck, which was missing at the time, identical to that used today.
