History

Traubisoda was invented in the 1930s by Lenz Moser V, a scion of an old-established eastern Austrian winemakers dynasty. Moser had the idea to create a non- sweet, but tangy, refreshing, non-alcoholic drink.

Its heyday was the drink in the 1950s and 1960s. From the early 1970s suffered the with the slogan "Instead of holes in the air to look, instead of building castles in the air, drinking but often Traubisoda, Traubisoda for you and me, Traubisoda - keeeellerkalt " advertised beverage revenue losses and was in 1971 to the Hungarian Badacsonyi Állami Gazdaság ( state farm ) sold. The drink was so successful that the Hungarian Traubisoda now in his new home was phased even more successful than Coca -Cola.

The trademark rights were purchased after the turn of Salamon Berkowitz, and the drink is now produced by the company Traubi Rt Balatonvilágos. These mature Saszla grapes ( Chasselas French: Chasselas ) are pressed and the juice is mixed with strong magnesium-containing mineral water. The Hungarian Traubisoda is filled in specially shaped bottles and is kosher, which is confirmed by a stamp of the Budapest chief rabbi on every bottle.

In the early 1990s imported the Austrian company Intercros from Neulengbach Traubisoda from Hungary to Austria; now in 0.5 liter and 1.5 liter PET bottles. Later, the import took over the company Warimpex based in Vienna.

For a short time there was in 1996 for the market launch of Traubisoda a cream yogurt dessert called Traubi dessert in the yellow cup with aluminum foil lid. In 2004, the Austrian forest source Kobersdorf GmbH acquired the trademark rights.
