Travel Promotion Act of 2009

The Travel Promotion Act ( Travel Promotion Act ) of 2009 is a federal law of the United States. It deals primarily with the entry fee, which is levied by the federal government. Payment must take place for foreigners who stay less than 90 days in the United States. The fee is $ 10 per person and trip. Be financed with the funds, among other campaigns for foreign visitors.

The House of Representatives approved the bill with 358:66 to ( October 2009). The Senate approved the bill with 78:18. President Obama put it on 4 March 2010 with his signature into force.
