Traveling carnival

A Carnival is the American expression of a to place withdrawing from place amusement parks, the rides and stalls all belong to a single owner or owner companies, in contrast to the German fair, in which the transactions are usually operated by various independent showmen. Unlike many European markets year the Carnival is usually not linked to religious festivals.

Carnival came on in the 19th century and are increasingly replaced by stationary amusement parks since the second half of the 20th century. The organization of an American Carnivals resembles that of a traveling circus.

Carnival is also the English term for Carnival, but mostly used in the United States, even with the above meaning. To distinguish them from other word meanings of the term traveling carnival is used frequently.
