Travesio

The community Travesio ( Friulian Traves, German Traveis ) is located in northeast Italy in the Friuli- Venezia Giulia in the province of Pordenone.

Geography

It lies north of Pordenone and has 1794 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). The municipality is located 500 meters above the sea and includes a municipality of 28 km ².

The territory of the municipality lies at the end of the Alps at the beginning of the Venetian Plain.

The municipality covers not only the main town Frisanco two other localities: Molevana, Toppo, Usago and Zancan. The neighboring municipalities are Castelnovo del Friuli, Meduno, Pinzano al Tagliamento, and Tramonti di Sotto Sequals.
