Travis Scott (ice hockey)

Travis Scott ( born September 14, 1975 in Kanata, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender, who was recently at the HC Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Travis Scott began his career in 1993 in the Ontario Hockey League, where he played for two years with the Windsor Spitfires and another year for the Oshawa Generals. Then the left -catching goalkeeper moved briefly into the American Hockey League before he was transferred to the Baton Rouge Kingfish, for which he spent two years active in the East Coast Hockey League. In the 1998/99 season he made ​​the breakthrough, when he led the Mississippi Sea Wolves, with good performances in the play-offs and winning the Kelly Cup. He then moved back to the AHL, where he managed the Lowell Lock Monsters joined. In the season 2000/ 01 the ungedraftete Scott played his only NHL game so far for the Los Angeles Kings. From 2001 to 2005, he played two years for the Manchester Monarchs, the farm team of the Kings, and the San Antonio Rampage in the AHL.

For the season 2005 /06, Scott decided a move to Europe and played the next two years in the Russian Super League for Metallurg Magnitogorsk. The Russian club, he won the Spengler Cup in Davos and in the 2006/07 season the championship in 2005. In summer 2007, he signed a one-year contract with DEL club Kölner Haie which was however disbanded in December 2007 because Scott took on a highly doped offer from his former Russian club.

On 11 December 2008, he signed a contract with the Austrian record champion EC KAC and has been with the club on April 6, Austrian Champion. After this success, he was first out of contract before Scott was hired by the DEL - Club Hannover Scorpions in November 2009. With them he was again champion. He initially signed a contract until the end of the season, but extended it to 2011. Shortly after the beginning of the season 2010/11 he broke the contract with the Scorpions, but again, because he did not want to agree to the 15 percent pay cut, which club owner Günter Papenburg financial proposed consolidation of the association. In December 2010, Scott signed a contract with the HC Traktor Chelyabinsk of the Kontinental Hockey League.
