Travis Webb

Travis "Spider" Webb ( born October 8, 1910 in Joplin, Missouri USA, † January 27, 1990 in McMinnville, Oregon, USA) was an American race car driver.

Between 1939 and 1955 he was a regular in the AAA National Series. His best finish he achieved with one second place in 1946 in Winchester and 1949 in Detroit.

In the 500 miles of Indianapolis, he was 1948-1954 with the exception of 1951 when all the races here, although he never was able to place in front of the field itself. Since the race from 1950 to 1960 belonged to the world championship of Formula 1, it thus also participated in four World Cup races.
