Tre Simmons

Chester " Tre " Simmons III ( born July 24, 1982 in Seattle, Washington, United States) is a professional American basketball player. Simmons was during his professional career, particularly between 2006 and 2010 in Israel actively, where he won the 2009 Tel Aviv two consecutive national championships with Hapoel Holon and Maccabi 2008. Since the season 2010/11 he is active for CEZ Basketball Nymburk, with whom he won the 2011 Czech league and cup double.

Career

College

After his education at James A. Garfield High School in his hometown Simmons went in 2001 to study at the Odessa Junior College in Odessa ( Texas). This junior college attaches great importance to its sports teams and is proud to be known NBA players like Larry Johnson already started their college career at this college. Club career

After Chester Simmons was not selected in the Entry Draft of the NBA, he began his professional career in the highest Greek A1 Ethniki league with PAOK from Thessaloniki. For the season 2006/ 07 he moved to the Spanish ACB league for basketball club from Gran Canaria. After a few games he left this club and joined the Israeli Basketball League Ligat ha Al, Hapoel Galil Elyon initially.
