Treaty of Hanover (1725)

The alliance of Mr. Hausen was an alliance between the Kingdom of France, the Kingdom of Great Britain and Prussia -Brandenburg, which was completed on September 3, 1725 in Hanover Herrenhausen. It arose as a reaction to the conclusion of the Treaty of Vienna, between the Kingdom of Spain and Austria - Hungary. The Alliance should ensure the safety of all participants and at the same time prevent a strengthening of Spain and Austria. The Ostend Company was dissolved, protected the German Protestants and the Prussian claims to Jülich -Berg are enforced. Later, the United Netherlands and the Kingdom of Denmark joined the alliance. The outbreak of an impending war between the two alliance systems ( → English- Spanish War ( 1727-1729 ) ) was not it, though. The Vienna Convention of 1731 eventually dissolved the alliance constellations.
