Trelleborg Municipality

Trelleborg is a municipality (in Swedish kommun ) in the southern Swedish province of Skåne County and the historical province Scania. The main town of the municipality of Trelleborg.

Geography

The municipality is located on the Swedish south coast of the Baltic Sea and has a 35 km long sandy beach. Also, is Sweden's southernmost point, Smygehuk, in the community. In the northern part of the municipality are predominantly beech forests. The area between the coast and the forest is used for agriculture especially.
