Trélon

Trélon is a commune with 3032 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Nord, in the Nord -Pas -de -Calais. It belongs to the district of Avesnes -sur- helpe and Canton Trélon.

History

Trélon is undoubtedly an ancient settlement, because you have found remains from the Roman period, including medals of the Emperor Augustus and Domitian. The known history Trélons is closely linked with that of its castle, which belonged to the house of Avesnes from the 11th century. It was built by Nicolas d' Avesnes, she fell successively into the hands of France, Burgundy and Spain.
