Tremmell Darden

Tremmell Lequincy Dushun Darden ( born December 17, 1981 in Inglewood ) is an American professional basketball player. He plays usually on the positions of the small forwards or shooting guards.

Career

Tremmell Darden began his career in the Las Vegas High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. After graduating in 2000, he went to the Niagara University, where he played until 2004 for the Niagara Purple Eagles in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference of the NCAA. He had 2003/ 04, when he reached the Conference Finals with his team and was elected to the All- Tournament team his most successful season.

His first season as a professional graduated from Darden 2004/ 05 in the Turkish TBL for Erdemir SK Ereğli. After a year he moved to Belgium, to the Leuven Bears from 2006 to Spirou Charleroi BC, with whom he the ULEB Cup enters 2007/ 08 and was able to celebrate the Belgian championship. After a year in the Australian NBL, where he was also able to win the championship with the South Dragons, Darden returned to Europe. For the French club Strasbourg IG and SLUC Nancy Basket, he played one season and was able to celebrate with the latter 2010/11 the title in the LNB.

For the 2011/12 season Darden moved to Spanish club Unicaja Málaga. With these he made his debut on 20 October 2011 in the ULEB Euro League, where his team reached the round of last 16. However, the Spanish ACB league ended Unicaja only a disappointing ninth place. In summer 2012, Darden signed for the Lithuanian Zalgiris Kaunas giants and immediately won the national Supercup. In March 2013, the Spanish giants Real Madrid him committed to the injured Martynas Pocius to replace until season's end. With the " Royal " he won by 3-2 in the final play-off against FC Barcelona the championship.
