Tremosine
Tremosine is a town with 2145 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It lies on the western side of Lake Garda in the province of Brescia in the Lombardy region.
Geography
Location
Almost the entire area extends over the plateau, the Tremosine gave the name and the steep slopes down to the lake, and on the north subsequent mountain, part of Lake Garda mountains. Only the district Campione is on the lake.
The lowest point Tremosines sits on the lakeshore to about 65 meters above sea level, the highest point is the Monte Caplone (1976 m slm ). Pieve, the district with the county seat, is situated on a good 400 m slm While at the lake prevail Mediterranean climate and related vegetation, the peak areas with their species-rich, partly endemic flora ( sub-) alpine are marked. The entire municipality is part of the nature park Parco Alto Garda Bresciano.
The valleys of Valle San Michele and Valle di Bondo ( in the lower reaches called Valle Brasa ) subdivide the city roughly in north-south direction. The lower reaches of both rivers whose water is used for energy production, have dug deep gorges into the rocky shore of the lake.
Tremosine borders the following municipalities: Brenzone (VR, border in Lake Garda), Limone sul Garda, Magasa, Malcesine (VR, border in Lake Garda), Ledro ( TN) and Tignale.

Tremosine consists of 18 districts (Italian Frazioni ): Arias, Bassanega, Cadignano, Campione, Castone, Mezzema, Musio, Pieve ( administrative seat ) Pregasio, Priezzo, Secastello, Sermerio, Sompriezzo, Ustecchio, Vesio, Villa, Voiandes and Voltino.
