TrES-1b

TrES -1 is an exoplanet orbiting the star GSC 02652-01324 variable with a period of 3.0301 days. The orbit around the central star has a semi-major axis of about 0,039 astronomical units and an eccentricity of about 0.14. The mass of the exoplanet is about 0.8 Jupiter masses, its radius was determined to be about 1.1 Jupiter radii. The exoplanet was discovered using the transit method in the framework of the Trans - Atlantic Exoplanet Survey in 2004.
