Treta-Yuga

Treta Yuga (Sanskrit त्रेता युग Treta Yuga ) is the second of four described in the Hindu scriptures yugas or ages of the world. The Treta Yuga follows the Satya Yuga and is detached from the Dvapara Yuga. It takes three times as long as the Kali Yuga, ie 3 × 432,000 = 1.296 million years. Life Law ( Dharma ) is realized in this age only three-quarters.
