Trevi (rione of Rome)
Trevi is the rione II (district ) of Rome. It comprises the northern part of the Quirinal and the underlying valley to the Trevi Fountain.
History
The name derives from the Latin trivium that the intersection of three roads designated in the area of present-day Piazza dei Crociferi. The medieval name of the district was Regio Trivi et Vielate.

The coat of arms shows the three swords, symbolizing the three streets of the Trivium.
