Trey Lorenz

Trey Lorenz ( born January 19, 1969 in Florence as Lloyd Lorenz Smith) is an American singer and songwriter. He is a graduate of Wilson High School.

Biography

Lorenz began his career as a backing vocalist on Mariah Carey's first promotional tour in 1990. A year later he contributed background vocals to the album Carey's Emotions at. 1992 Lorenz was back for an appearance on MTV Unplugged to be seen as a background singer on the side of Mariah Carey and listen. There, the two presented a cover version of the Jackson 5 hit I'll Be There, which she also sang at the official memorial service for Michael Jackson on July 7, 2009. The unplugged version was released as a single and a number one hit in the United States. As a result, Lorenz received a record deal and recorded his first album Trey Lorenz, that was published in 1992. He was with Mariah Carey's label MonarC and Jermaine Dupri 's label So So Def Records, published there, but nothing.

Lorenz ' second album Mr. Mista was published on 16 September 2006. Among the songs on this album also includes See You Sometime, that he sang during his Charmbracelet World Tour.
