Treze Futebol Clube

The Treze Futebol Clube, usually called only Treze, is a football club established in 1925 in Campina Grande, in the Brazilian state of Paraíba. His greatest sporting triumph consists in repeated Participate in the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol ( the first Brazilian soccer league).

History

The Treze Futebol Clube was founded on September 7, 1925 by Antônio Fernandes Bioca, as well as 12 other football friends. It was the first football club of the State of Paraíba. The first logo was a 13 to commemorate the 13 founders.

The first game of the newly founded association was on November 6, 1925 against a local rival and was won 1-0. In the years 1976, 1977, 1979, 1982 and 1983 played Treze in the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol.

Achievements

At the national level, the greatest successes were the climbs in the first league and winning the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B ( Group E ) in 1986. On a state level Treze won 13 times ( in 1940, 1941, 1950, 1966, 1975, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1989, 2000, 2001, 2005 and 2006 ) the Campeonato Paraibano ( the state championship of the state Paraíbas ) and 5 times the Torneio Início ( in the years 1965, 1974, 1976, 1982 and 1985). At local level, the biggest success was the 21 -fold victory for the city championship.
