Trhové Dušníky

Trhove Dušníky ( German German Duschnik ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located two kilometers north of Pribram and belongs to Příbram.

Geography

Trhove Dušníky is located in the south of the Brd at the Litavka. To the east rises the Strážný (559 m ) southeast of the Květná ( 543 m). By Trhove Dušníky leads the railway Beroun- Pribram, but the place is not a train stop.

Neighboring towns are Bratkovice and Kardavec in the north, Žírovy in the northeast, and Občov LihA in the east, in the southeast of Dubno, Pribram in the south, Podlesí in the southwest, Lhota u Příbramě in the west and Sádek in the northwest.

History

The first mention of the chapter of St. Giles in Prague associated place Dušníky took place in 1268. Originally the inhabitants lived by farming and after the beginning of silver mining and from the mountain work. 1548 the place of royal possession and as a fief of the Karlstejn Castle was assumed. Because of the great distance of the town to the castle decided the States General to entrust it to Wenceslas Bechinie of Lazan in exchange for Zadnà Třebaň. Ferdinand I handed Wenzel Bechinie 1549 the place with all the rights to the free exercise of his reign.

Since there was no festivals in Trhove Dušníky, Wenzel was Bechinie to make the place his seat, such a build. In the same course he had the chapel of the Holy Trinity building. After the expulsion of the Jews from Pribram in 1568 Trhove Dušníky became one of its sanctuaries to 1853. After the death of his widow Anna Ulrich Bechinie 1623 sold the property to the citizens of Prague Johann career man. This sold Trhove Dušníky to Catherine Countess of Sulz, born two years later Lobkowicz. From its subsidiaries purchased in 1644 by Vladislav Chlumčanský Přestavlk the place. The Chlumčanský left in 1694 to transform the celebrations into a baroque palace. Of the Chlumčanský acquired in 1734 Wenceslas de Bossi dominion, and sold it in 1741 to the city of Pribram, from which it was leased to the abolition of patrimonial regimes to different people. 1857 lived in the village of 566 people, in 1920 there were 625

The decay rate given castle lay desolate in 1950 and was demolished in 1973. In 2007 the village suffered great damage by a flood of Litavka.
