Triagoz lighthouse

Phare des Triagoz is the name of a lighthouse on the Channel coast of Brittany, in the department of Côtes- d'Armor, France. It is located on the small island group Les Triagoz extending about ten kilometers northeast of Trégastel and twelve kilometers east of Sept Îles. The lighthouse itself is located on the local rock island Guen - Braz. There is a square tower of pink granite from Ploumanac.

History

The tower was built in 1861-1864 under the direction of engineers Dujardin and Pelau, and equipped with Fresnel lenses. The automation was made in 1984. Its scope is 14 nautical miles.

The lantern structure has already been removed and stored in Lézardrieux.

Due to lack of maintenance, the structural condition of the lighthouse deteriorated rapidly and he is currently in urgent need of a complete overhaul.
