The Tribhuvan International Airport ( IATA: KTM, ICAO code: VNKT ) ( Nepali: त्रिभुवन अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विमानस्थल ) in Kathmandu is Nepal's only international passenger airport.

In August 2013, the single start and runway of the airport indefinitely had to be closed for wide-body aircraft, as the dilapidated runway could not stand their weight load was.
