Trieb (White Elster)

The drive is a right tributary of the White Elster. It is located in the upper reaches violin Bach and rises north of Schoeneck / Vogtl. in just 1.5 km Distance to dump source, the source of the Red trough. The violin creek flows in a northerly direction and is about 7 km below the source for drinking water reservoir Werda, also violin Bach Dam called jammed. From the village of Bergen, the name drive is in use. The flowed through to Bergen place even received the name of drive according to the river. Subsequently, the engine is dammed to 5.8 km in length to Pohl dam and takes in the dam on the left side of the Raven Bach. It opens after it has passed through the familiar, rocky and steep-walled Triebtal near the Elstertalbrücke in the Weisse Elster.
