Triebel / Vogtl. is a municipality in the Saxon Vogtland. It belongs to the administrative community Oelsnitz / Vogtl. and is a member of cross-border micro-region friends in the heart of Europe.

Geography

In the village of 504 m above sea level rises. NN high Kirchberg, on which the ruins of the village church and its mountings walls are. The highest point within Triebel is 629 m above sea level. NN high, lying between Triebel, Obert Riebel and Haselrain Platzerberg. The town is crossed by Triebelbach.

Adjacent communities in the Vogtland are Bösenbrunn, Eichigt, Weischlitz, and the city Oelsnitz / Vogtl. In the southwest of the Bavarian district court belonging to the communities husband's village, Regnitzlosau and Trogen adjoin.

History

Triebel was named First documented in the year 1303. The emergence of the village is probably due to an operated by the Triebelbach iron hammer. Around it was created by clearing the place in the form of a Waldhufen village. Triebel was for a long time by a fortified fortified church surmounted, but collapsed in 1988. In addition to this ruin a small bell tower was built in 2001.

In GDR times a summer camp was set up and maintained in the place that was left to decay after 1990.

Culture and sights

In the district Wiedersberg are the ruins of the castle Wiedersberg.

In the district Posseck is a manor, which was first used after the Second World War by the Red Army. Subsequently, it also served as a village- community center. Since it was privatized after the fall of its use as a social center of the village is no longer possible; since the property is empty, it is not rehabilitated and attention is becoming.

In the district Sachs Green is the mansion of the manor Sachs green.

Churches there are in Triebel (ruins), Sachs Green, Posseck and Wiedersberg.
