Trigone of urinary bladder

The trigone of the bladder, also known as bladder or bladder triangle triangle ( engl. bladder trigone ), is a wrinkle-free mucosal field ( mucosa ) at the bladder base ( fundus of bladder, lat = vesica, bladder ').

Anatomical location

The bladder is located between the triangle and the ureteral orifices opening of the urethra ( urethral ostium internum ) to the bladder. Dorsal is it limited by the plica interureterica. The trigone of the bladder is conspicuous whitish.
