The Trillkebach, often abbreviated to Trillke, springs southwest of Hildesheim from three source strings in Marienrode and from the slopes in the southern part of Stone Mountain. In Moritzberg district he joins near the pond with the king Blänkebach for copper strand, which leads into the heart in the control forest district.

As " Trildane " the Trillkebach in Hildesheim 1288 mentioned for the first time in a document. 1380, Bishop Gerhard Trillkebach the dam so that the pond was new, the name of the street Am Neuen ponds recalls. Its approximate location is just east of Moritz Berger path and the street Am Probsteihof places can still be seen today. The stone mountain road, next to the Trillke flows in parts, was called deep between Steinberg and Katz mountain since 1523 " Depth road " because of their course. It was given its current name until 1901. In the area where it leads away today about the Trillke ( in the amount of forest source), was originally a bridge instead of a passage through the creek.

The course of the Trillkebachs was changed several times. In 1866 he was transferred to the present Küchenthal road. After the devastating flood in March 1947 found 1950-52 again instead of working for straightening and regulation of Trillke, Blänkebach and copper strand.
