Trine Hansen

Trine Hansen ( born February 19, 1973 in Ringsted ) is a former Danish rower.

Hansen began her career in Soro Roklub, the rowing club of Soro; In 1997 she moved to Roforeningen Kvik. Hansen won from 1992 to 1999 eight Danish champion in One. At the Olympic Games in 1992, she joined in with the Danish sculls, finishing in eighth place. The World Rowing Championships 1993, she finished third behind the German Jana Thieme and the Canadian Marnie McBean. 1994 Indianapolis Hansen won the world title before Kathrin Boron and the Belgian Annelies Bredael. In Atlanta in 1996 with her second Olympic participation Hansen won the bronze medal behind the White Russian Ekaterina Karsten and the Canadian Silken Laumann. At the 1997 World Championships Karsten won ahead of Hansen.
