Trinity Lake
The Trinity Lake, formerly Clair Engle Lake, is a reservoir in California. It is fed by the Trinity River and dammed by the Trinity Dam, a 164 m high Erdschüttdamm. The 30 km long lake has a capacity of 3.02 km ³, making it one of the largest water storage in California.
From 1964 to 1997, the lake was known officially as Clair Engle Lake, after Senator Clair Engle.
