Trinity Lakes AVA

Trinity Lakes AVA is a recognized since February 28, 2005 wine-growing region in the State of California and part of the national Napa Valley AVA.

Location

The vineyards spread across the County Trinity County. The defined area of the appellation includes the two artificial lakes Trinity Lake and Lewiston Lake and some riverside locations on the Trinity River below Lewiston Dam one. So far benefited only a single vineyard, the Alpine Cellars of the designation of origin. Therefore, only a fraction of the cultivation area is recognized planted with vines.
