Trinomial
As a trinomial is called in mathematics the tripartite correspondence to the well-known binomial. Thus, it is a polynomial which is a sum of monomials three. Also, the term trinomische formula exists as a counterpart to the binomial formulas and is based on a power of the kind in the standard case.
