Tristan Gale

Tristan Gale ( born August 10, 1980 in Ruidoso ) is an American skeleton pilot.

Tristan Gale began her career Skeleton at senior level in 2000 with the participation of the U.S. Championships, where she finished fourth. In December of the year they won in Park City and Lake Placid two races of the America 's Cup. In November 2001 she made her debut at a race in Koenigssee in the World Cup and there was already 12 in the second race in Igls shortly afterwards she came in eighth for the first time in the Top 10

In January 2002, she failed to qualify for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City. Three of the four qualifying races of the U.S. team could decide for themselves. In the games, they could be first female Skelteonolympiasiegerin. In November 2002, she also won her first and only World Cup race in Park City.

In 2003 she took up at the Junior World Championships in Königsseee, but had to concede defeat Julia Eichhorn and Lyndsie Peterson. In the senior World Championships in Nagano shortly afterwards she again won bronze. In the aftermath Gales services were slightly weaker at the international level. At the 2004 World Championships in Koenigssee it was only ninth. For all the following major events they could not qualify custody.
