Trittico Lombardo

The Trittico Lombardo is a series of three one-day race, which takes place every year in August (16th - 18th ) within three consecutive days. At this trilogy, which will be held in Lombardy, include the following races: Tre Valli Varesine, Coppa Agostoni and Coppa Bernocchi. The individual race of the Trittico Lombardo belong to the newly formed UCI Europe Tour 2005.

Tre Valli Varesine

The classified into the UCI category 1.1 race Tre Valli Varesine is the first and most important competition of the Trittico Lombardo. This challenging race will be held in the area of Varese since 1919. In the dominated by Italian cyclists winners list includes the big names of Fausto Coppi, Francesco Moser, Giuseppe Saronni and Gianni Bugno as German winner so far only Gregor Braun ( 1981) and Fabian Wegmann ( 2004).

Coppa Agostoni

The existing since 1946 Semi- classic will take place after the Tre Valli Varesine day. Coppa Bernocchi

The Coppa Bernocchi is the third and final race of the Trittico Lombardo. It takes place in the western Lombardy in the region of the city of Legnano. The traditional race has been held since 1919 and found himself in 1931 only in 1943 because of the Second World War did not take place. Namesake of the race is not a cyclist, but the local politicians and benefactors Antonio Bernocchi.
