Trocadéro (Paris Métro)

Trocadero is an underground station of the Paris Métro. It is located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. The station is served by the metro line 6. The station of Line 6 is below the Avenue Kléber, the line 9 under the avenue Maria Callas. In the immediate vicinity are the Jardins du Trocadéro. The station is named after the Battle of Trocadero.

The station was taken on October 2, 1900 in operation, as the section of Étoile (now Charles de Gaulle - Étoile ) was opened up by the Trocadero. This was part of the line 2Sud. On October 14, 1907, the line profiles were changed. The line was withdrawn at the Étoile and the line 5 sailed since their route from the south to Étoile. The station of line 9 was put into operation on November 8, 1922. On 6 October 1942, the line profiles were again changed, so that since then the line 6 stops at the station.
