Trofeo Alfredo Binda-Comune di Cittiglio

The Trofeo Alfredo Binda - Comune di Cittiglio is a one-day race for women, which is held annually in Cittiglio, the birthplace of the Italian cycling idol Alfredo Binda discharged. The race is since 2008 part of the cycling World Cup of women.

The Trofeo via a 15.5 km long circuit, which is traversed eight times. The course runs from Cittiglio over Brenta, Casalzuigno, Casale Alto, Cuveglio, Cuvio, Azzio, Gemonio and back to Cittiglio. The route includes two steep climbs, one at the beginning in Casale Alto, and the second in Azzio shortly before the finish. Addressing these gradients usually decide the outcome of the race.
