Trollenäs Castle

The Trollenäs castle is located in the Swedish municipality of Eslöv.

The well-known since the 14th century Country Estate was initially only Headlands, due to its location between two streams. 1559 days left Ottesen Thott built the present castle. This came in 1682 in the possession of the noble family trolls, which also led to the name change. At the end of the 19th century, the building was rebuilt by Danish architect Ferdinand Meldahl into a Renaissance chateau in the French style. The castle is now managed still owned by the Trolle family and run by the company Trollenäs Gods AB. The publicly accessible building provides opportunities for guided tours, conferences, weddings and catering. The adjacent park is also a café.

The castle consists of a main building on three floors and two wings in two floors. On the west side of the main building includes a rectangular tower. From the porch a wide staircase leads down to the garden.
