Tron District

Amphoe Tron ( Thai อำเภอ ตรอน ) is a district ( Amphoe ) in the western province of Uttaradit. The Uttaradit Province is located in the northern region of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from north clockwise): Amphoe the Laplae, Mueang Uttaradit, Thong Saen Khan and Phichai the province of Uttaradit and Nakhon Si and Si Satchanalai the province of Sukhothai.

Management

The circle is divided into five subdistricts (tambon ), which are divided further into 47 villages ( Muban ).

There are two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Tron ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ตรอน ) consists of parts of the tambon Wang Daeng.
  • Ban Kaeng ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บ้าน แก่ง ) consists of parts of tambon Ban Kaeng.

There are also five " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
