Troopergate (of Trooper, a rank in the U.S. police system and gate, following Watergate ) stands for accusations and scandals to the following persons:

• Sarah Palin, who has been accused by the ethics committee in Alaska of abuse of office.
• Eliot Spitzer, who resigned after use of services exclusive prostitutes from his post as governor of New York.
• Bill Clinton: The " Troopergate " affair of the Paula Jones is called. The police Larry Patterson and Roger Perry of the Arkansas State Police brought the affair with the accusation rolling, Clinton had instructed her to give him affairs. The name is derived from Trooper, the former rank of Patterson and Perry.
